Welcome from Dallas, Texas. I too enjoy crocheting.

BTW. We love pictures here.

Welcome - I'm sure your mom will let you raid her stash. Lucky you!

Thanks for the welcome, and the tip on tutorials! Are you near the Ohio Amish? My last trip up in PA Dutch country is what put me over the edge to take up quilting - they're so inspiring!

Thanks for the welcome, Shadow Dancer! I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you on the boards.

Thanks for the welcome, Gayle. I mostly love staying at home with the kids, but I think I need to get out more sometimes. Hmmm, I hear quilt shops often have stitch nights (I know yarn shops did for knit/crochet, but there aren't any of those near me, and there are two quilt shops within 5 miles!)

Thanks for the welcome, pocoellie (is that like Little Ellie? I love the origin of people's screen names... ironic, since mine is so bland).

I don't know how you find time to quilt with three boys! Finding the time to start has been the hardest thing, and I have two docile girls still in napping age! Any tips on how to quilt with kids in the house is welcome :-) Thanks for the welcome.
