Marcine 07-02-2009 10:01 AM

Hello, I have been getting the newsletter for sometime now, and just now decided to join the forum. Being new at this, I am not sure just how to go about or use the forum. I do love several kinds of needlework and have recelently started quilting. We live in Madison, WI. and have for about 46 years. My husband and I are retired and are snowbirds, as we have a 36 foot 5th wheel we take to Florida. I take my sewing machine with us. Are there any others here that are snowbirds that live in an R.V.? One question, how to do post a picture to your profile?

Thanks, Bye for now, Marcie

To add a pic to your profile click the "My Profile" Link at top of page..
scroll all the way down to bottom of that page and you'll see a spot to put ya avatar pic. *Has a size limit of 130x130 pixels*
You can upload one directly from your comp or paste in a url to one that you've got saved somewhere on the net.
just click submit when you're done and it should show up just fine. :)

Hello and welcome from Eastern Washington! I haven't been a snow bird yet but plan to be when winter comes around again. We just got our first RV--it is small but will work just fine for the two of us. I already have a sewing machine for it (I still have to go out to buy new pots and pans, but you know, important things first...) I will for sure take my computer with me so I can stay posted on the forum, too.

Welcome to the board, also from Southern CA. We are going with an RV next week but I am NOT taking my sewing machine. It is only for four days but I will miss it. I have seen other posts about living in an RV, so it is not uncommon. So glad you have joined us. I, too, am new to quilting after many years with other needlecrafts. I even remember how to knit!
