Hi,

My name is Lynn and I am from Nova Scotia Canada. I have just decided to learn quilting in the last month so I really do not know much if anything about it. Hubby bought me a basic sewing machine to start out with for Christmas and I want to start using it. i will probably have lots of questions but I look for ward to learning from the quilters here.

Hi Mistylynn1958, I am new to this site also. I'm from Oklahoma City, OK. You can do anything you want on your basic machine. The expensive machines just give you more options for stitches, etc.
