new to the group
Hello everyone! I'm new to the quilting board and hoping someone out there can point me in the right direction.
I'm interested in making a poinsettia table runner and looking for a pattern. I see so many beautiful runners on pintress, but I haven't been able to figure out how to get the pattern. Any ideas? |
When you see a poinsettia runner on Pintrest that you like, are you clicking on the "Visit" button? Sometimes the blog it leads you to will feature the pattern.
Better yet, I found luck when I actually search Pinterest (or google) the words "Poinsettia table runner pattern.' You need the word "pattern" in there or else you might get only images. If you want a free pattern, include the word "free" in your search. |

Hello JOCLARK and Welcome. Pinterest is a blessing and a curse all at the same time because the images are uploaded once and then spread across the site and saved to multiple user so it is sometimes difficult to identify the original source of the image. However, now that Pinterest has made updates to their site, you are now able to find the original site, for instance, the site name is now listed. Go find a table runner on the Pinterest site, perform a search for a table runner, then select the one image you like; once the image is in view, look for SAVED FROM and VISIT, the saved from identifies the site the image was originated or found and then you can visit the site. Hope this helps.

Hello Angel Bear, I love your quote, may I use it and place above my Mac, so whenever I'm on my Mac looking for something, it will be a fun reminder to get off the Mac and get quilting or doing something else! I do tend to get side tracked when I get on my Mac.
