Hi, I'm new here and hope to pick up a lot of good hints from you, the experts. I did one quilt, Eleanor Burns "Trip Around the World" in the early 80s. I then started "Log Cabin" in the mid 80s, just found it again and finished it in 2011. In the 80s I was putting my daughter through college and working on my BS. Now I'm retired and am trying to get back to quilting, but have so much to learn. When I finished my Log Cabin quilt I was not happy with the quilting or the binding, in fact, I'm going to give it away. I keep buying fabric (love to do that), have made another top, but don't know how to finish it. I will keep on reading the forums here and with everyones input someday I will be able to do half as well as you all are doing.

Hi, welcome from Tx, I had trouble with binding too, and someone suggested Allpeoplequilt.com, they have great video tutorials, and even after quilting for 4 years, I just watched this a few months ago, called invisible binding and WOW! It really is! Great tutorial! Mine look so much better now! Can't tell where it starts or stops!
