New Here!

Hi! My name is Angela & I am new to quilting and new to this forum. I'm always looking for ideas and am looking forward to getting to know you!

I recently (6 weeks) bought a Husqvarna Jade 20. I have started a jelly roll race and a weighted blanket. I'm hoping to finish the weighted blanket this weekend!

Hello and welcome!

I think the best way to get started is simply to get started so it sounds like you are off to a good start :) I was self-taught myself but think this internet stuff is awesome! Even if we don't know anyone personally or have anyone close physically, on the 'net we are all right here together.

We're glad to have you here, we love pictures of both the good and the bad, while maybe embarrassing, it's often the best way for us to help with problems when they arrive. And we are always joyful for completions, from first quilts to first place winners.

Welcome from Central Florida. I started quilting 40 years ago but I have learned so much from all of the members on this board. Good luck with your projects and please share when you are finished.

Welcome from Idaho! Jelly roll race pattern is a great pattern to practice your 1/4” seam allowance and learn your machine. Have fun and share pictures!
