Hi everyone! I am so glad to find this board. You are all so nice to each other and have such helpful hints, too! I have been quilting for 8 1/2 years. I decided to make a quilt using the scraps left over from making the crib set and curtains for my future daughter's nursery. So I had to get creative since I had a mishmash of canvas, flannel, cotton/poly sheets and white muslin! I read every book I could. It is still my favorite quilt. My avatar is the quilt I made for our 4th child, third boy and the caboose!
I love all your beautiful quilts. I just lurked for awhile before I registered. But you can't tell people what a great job they did if you aren't signed up, so here I am! Kas |

Grammyp, I am originally from Huntsville, Al. My mom and an aunt still live there. My older sister is in Andalusia, my niece is at Auburn (War Eagle!) and I have cousins in Mobile. I miss lightning bugs.
And I am so happy to be here! I am looking forward to new quilting friends! |
