New-ish in Ohio

Hi, All,

I'm new to the forum. Have been quilting for about six years, but I'm on the one quilt a year schedule. My goal this year though is to invest more time in my quilting vocation.

I'm in northeast Ohio, about an hour west of Cleveland. I've been working by hand and on my 1918 Singer machine, though I'm in the market for an upgrade (though I love my old beast, just looking for something quieter and more versatile). I really like quilts that are more simple--I work mostly in solids, but enjoy different materials, like linen and corduroy.

Looking forward to meeting all y'all!

Best,
Sabrina

Hi Sabrina, welcome from another NE Ohioan. About half-way between Cleveland and Youngstown, in Amish country.

Thanks for all the welcomes! Wow, what a range of folks: Texas, Texas, Colorado, Canada, and Ohio! That's the nice thing about these forums--you get to meet a lot of folks at once.

Hi there, fellow Ohio-an. Amish country is so beautiful. I'm in Oberlin, OH myself. Thanks for the greeting
