I've been part of this board for awhile, but never really introduced myself... I comment sometimes and stalk you all a lot. tee hee I'm wondering what I need to do to become "a regular here"? does anyone know? I thought I read about it once, but now I cant' find the thread. I was hoping to clean out my stash, but realized I can't until I change my status...
But anyway, I'm Rachel, been quilting for about 6 years, taught basic sewing techniques by my dear Gma, that just recently passed away, but it was something she taught me that I will always cherish. Now I have great friends that quilt and teach me as we go... tee hee Its awesome. I always knew I'd quilt, just took me awhile to get started, now I'm hooked and I don't think I'll ever give it up... PS You all are great on this site!!! So much love and warmth from everyone, its a true blessing to have found you all.

Hi, and welcome from Southern California. There was something recently on status - it has to do with how many posts you put in. It changes automatically when you reach that number.

awesome. I'll start replying when I read (stalk) people then. tee hee Thanks!!!

Hi and Welcome from Northern Indiana !
The only way to get the frequent user is to make posts and after awhile it just automatically happens. Is that the status change you were wondering about ?

Welcome!

A regular is someone who has posted 20 posts in two weeks, I think. If it really matters, you could ask Admin.

Glad you decided to come out and play!

By the way, where in Iowa are you? I have lived in Spencer and Cedar Rapids, among other places.

"a regular here" -- at least 20 posts during two weeks up to date (assigned/removed automatically).

if you aren't normally a chatty member, we wouldn't want you to force yourself to comment for the sake of numbers. i have to say, though, that since you're started joining the conversation you've contributed marvelously. i hope you'll keep it up.

please feel free to post your offerings in the classified section. make a note in the opening post "exception granted by moderator PatriceJ."

(as an added note to others who might be reading this topic, i offer the "advice" that we also wouldn't want somebody posting meaningless comments just to run up enough numbers to qualify for selling things. )

Why do you have to be "A regular here" to get rid of some of your stash? I'm confused! Lol, I'm a bit new myself!

Welcome from Maine.

It's not only a 'trust' issue, if we don't know you, how do we know that you'll follow through and send what we've paid for?....but also one of Admin spending the money to provide us with a community, only to have someone take advantage of that provision by only coming here to use the boards to make money. (DISCLAIMER: I don't actually know that Admin looks at it that way...but I would! ;) )
