Hi fellow sewers. I'm a 79 year old widowed great grandmother and have been sewing since I was six. I live in central Florida and belong to the American Sewing Guild, Orlando chapter. We have around 160 members, give or take and mostly in the over 50 group. We do a lot of sewing and quilting for the community and ourselves.

With your 70 + years of experience I think we could all draw a wealth of information, inspiration and education from you. Please share. We're a pretty good bunch of folks who love our hobbies and our time with our On-line friends. WELCOME. |

Hello and welcome from a 70 year old in England. I have found so many new friends on this site, and the knowledge is passed on freely, although you seem to have so much experience it looks as though some people will be coming to you. But no matter how old you are you never stop learning do you?

Welcome Mar!
I'm relatively new here, too. I have been quilting a short time and learned most of my tricks online. Mom is a 4H instructor & member of a sewing & quilting group.... so I do have her should I run into trouble. I look forward to hearing from you & do hope you'll share your expertise with us (and pictures, too). :D |
