Hello, Pam! Thanks for your welcome note! Michigan is such a beautiful state but I agree about the harsh winters. I am a transplant from another area of the country and just dread Michigan winters. But I am one mile from Lake Michigan so I try not to complain....:)

But hello to you! We have a lot of Michiganders here, my hubby is ex-Grand Rapids but his family is still in the area. My last completed quilt was a blue and gold top for Aunt Debbie -- Go Blue!

Living in Michigan everyone assumes I am a Wolverine fan....But we're a Notre Dame family so you know what that means! :) I must say, though, I was thrilled when Michigan beat Ohio State last weekend! I love college football and have done a lot of hand quilting (and hand wringing!) watching games on Saturdays!

Hello, Suzanne! Thanks for your welcome note! I spent almost 10 happy years in Tucson years ago; it remains one of my favorite places to live ever (although the crazy politics out of your state make me sad). I loved your sign off quote, too! I hope to learn lots through this group as well.
