Hi there

ive been quilting about 3 years. I mainly do Quilt as You Go. I still haven’t found a method I’m totally happy with but always looking to try new things.

I make quilts for my community sewing group and they either go to hospitals, old folks homes etc or are sold for charity.

I love anything by Sherri McConnell and Lori Holt and adore Riley Blake fabrics.

Welcome from Texas! Glad you have found a great hobby in quilting. As time goes by you will settle in to what you like best. I would suggest just keep trying different techniques on small projects & before long you will find the one that fits you. We love pictures & would really like to see some of the quilts you have made.

hi there!

Oh gosh I’ve tried so many techniques not happy with any of them. There is one slightly better than others but it has its drawbacks.

Ive only been quilting about 3 years so I class myself as a beginner.

Where would I post my quilt photos? Thanks

Welcome from Michigan!:)

Like you, I think I've tried almost every method for QAYG. I finally found one I like for throw sized quilts. If you like, send me a PM and we can discuss the ones we like and the ones we don't.

Hello from Southern California!

I have to ask how often someone sings the Harrigan song to you? Many years ago there was a TV show called "Harrigan and Son". We loved it, so sad it was only one season.
