Hello, I am new here. I am from Ohio, and I am new to the quilting hobby also. :) I am actually new to the whole sewing thing...lol. I have always wanted to quilt and figured there is no time like the present. I have been reading your forum for a few weeks and trying to break the ice of joining. Seeing everyones things on here makes me feel like such an amateur. I have seen alot of beautiful pieces on here. Anyway, I am hoping to grow up...lol and be as good as the rest of you all.I have made a pillow so far and am currently working on a quilt for my spoiled yorkie. I figured I would make her the first one as I know she won't complain if the seams aren't aligned or if it isn't perfect...lol. Anyway I have learned a few things on here already and look forward to getting to know everyone and learn some more.

I started quilting reg. about 3 yrs ago and its strickly for fun, i've sold only a few mostly gave them away, and of covered my bed too. I worked so many years never had the time for myself, now do to an illness i do. so glad to have you

Hi Toni. Welcome aboard. I've been quilting about 5 years and have found I learn something new with each project. I haven't tried anything larger than a lap quilt so far. I stay pretty busy with baby quilts. Check out the live chats sometime. They're a good way to get to know people on here a little better. Have fun quilting!
