My name is Kathy and I live in Northern VA. Just recently started quilting again and am trying to finish old UFOs. Am also interested in learning to make appliqued quilts. Can anyone recommend a good book for applique?

Someone on her should be able to help you. I don't do much applique.

I can't recommend any books, but if you go to YouTube and google Sharon Schamber, there are several applique videos that are quite good. Most of them have several parts to them, and are very informative :D:D:D

Hello from central Indiana. I have done some applique, but very simple. Did Sun Bonnet Sue and Sylvaster Sam. I would like to learn more by self, I'll check and see if I can find what would be a good, from one of my local quild members, she has done some beautiful ones.

I moved from northern VA 4 years ago. There are so many great quilt guilds and fabulous quilt shops there! Take advantage of them to further your skills.
