Hi! My name is Emily and I am a fairly novice quilter from Missouri. I have been sewing since I was 8 (I started in 4-H) but gave it up after I was out of 4-H because I hated fashion sewing. When I was just out of college I worked with a quilter who got me hooked on it, and now I am completely addicted! I am married and my husband is a pretty good sport about my addiction, considering how I spend more time with my new Pfaff than I do with him :) I am a bit of a fabric freak, and I need to stop buying and finish a few projects.
I have machine quilted a few quilts in the ditch and one I criss-crossed, but I would really like to learn free-motion. I am afraid, however, because I'm really not that artsy and I'm pretty sure I would suck at it. Any tips on getting started with that would be appreciated! |

A big SHO-ME welcome from Lebanon, MO. My DH took me to Columbia several months ago (2 hour drive) to see if any of the quilt shops had MIZZOU fabric. The first one did - so bought enough different prints to make my grandson a quilt - he is a freshman at MiZZOU.
