Hello I have been sewing for a number of years but just took up quilting when I retired in 2004. I have a mid arm machine Janome and a New Joy Quilting Frame. I am still in the learning process but hopefully after another 50 or so quilts I'll get the hang of it.

Sorry about that I deleted it out by error. As long as you stand far far away it doesn't look too bad, but I know where all my mistakes are and there were a lot. Thank you

Welcome,
I was wondering how you hang your quilt in front of your window??? |
Actually the windows are in the house; a sunroom was put in by the previous owners and the windows were left, so I hung the quilt there to try to hide the windows lol. The quilt is hung on the little hangers you get with pant sets or skirts I just put nails up, hung the hangers (4) from the nails used the clips on the hangers to hang the quilt.

Welcome from Oklahoma with a Massachusetts accent. So happy you could be here. There is always room for one more quilter.
From the looks of the one you posted, you have the hang of it already. |
Well I learn a lot from doing the quilt especially what not to do. Don't decide to move your sewing room downstairs while you have the quilt on the frame. Also keep track of what you quilted on the different blocks and such, that way you can do the same pattern on the next block that looks the same. It was a real learning experience all around. I had tension problems just all sorts of problems. But I kept at it and finally got it finished. Thank you all for your kind comments and welcomes.
