Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself...I have done a little bit of quilting in the past and want to learn more....but I am DEFINATELY a beginner... Can't wait to look at all the beautiful pictures that have been posted.

Welcome, from Quebec City. I lived in Nova Scotia twice... 2 years in Clementsport and 13 years later I lived in Halifax for 4 years... I miss the Ocean!
Have fun with your new hobby. I am quite new at quilting also. I have only made some placemats and I was brave enough to make one big quilt that took me about 6 years to finish. I am hand quilting my second one, it's a lap quilt size.
Have you made any attempt yet. If so, don't be afraid to show us some pictures.

Wow, thank you everyone...yes, I have done a couple quilts... A tied rail fence quilt years ago and i just finished a patchwork rag quilt for a gift a Christmas...but I really want to learn how to machine quilt....

I will post a pic of the rag quilt soon.
