Hello everyone, I am the new kid on the block. I live in a small town in upstate NY called Corinth. I am not much a quilter YET, but want to learn and do a Sunbonnet Sue quilt. I also want to learn all about quilting, but really think Sunbonnet is so cute.

I have so many hobbies, I really dont need another one but, what the heck!

I hope I can contribute some to your board.

Thanks for having me
Candy

Welcome, Candy. Glad you joined us. What are some of your other hobbies?

Welcome to the board. I know you'll like it here. I'm finding that quilting is slowly squeezing most of my other hobbies out. I still crochet a little, cause I can do that if there's something on tv I want to watch. And I still read a lot, but mostly to wind down at night before it's lights out. Of course, I also come here to check in on friends pretty often during the day too...but that counts as part of my quilting obsession! Have fun!

Hi Candy and welcome. Beware!!! The quilting addiction has a tendancy to cancel out other hobbies, until you find you are more a quilter than anything else.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. As for other hobbies, I love photography, I am learning how to knit, I know how to crochet a little bit, and I spin wool, I am learning how to weave.

I am thinking I better find out what I really like to do and do it! But, it would be such a hard deciision to decide which one

Welcome. This is the best quilting family ever. I like you used to have a lot of other hobbies but since I started quilting it has taken over most of my free time. If you have any questions just ask. Please feel free to post pics of any of your hobbies. We all love to see pictures.
