Hi all,
I have enjoyed reading your posts and hope I can contribute now and then to the fun.
I love quilting. My last quilt is a bunny quilt from Buggy Barn. It's a stack and whack style and I loved doing it. My DSIL, my BFF and myself went on a long weekend get away and each of us did one of these quilts. We had a ball!
I hope to find more quilts done this way. Do any of you have websites where I can find more? Have any of you ever created one of your own design done this way? I'd love to see them.
I just set up my Profile page so I'm hoping my quilt shows up when I post.
I'm working on a QAYG project for our oldest boy andhis wife. When I get a little further along I'll post a pic.
Have great day my new quilter friends!

Hi and welcome from Washington state. Just look up Buggy Barn and they have all sorts of patterns on there. I took a BB class and made the Crazy Dog Days quilt in that same method. It was a blast. Show us pics!

Thank you to all of you for the nice welcome.
Janstar, I went to the Buggy Barn site and saw a few of their designs I'd like to try. I saw a couple dog patterns. I hope you'll post yours when it's done.

My Buggy Barn dog quilt. It took 2nd place at our quilt show, which shocked me. I usually don't win much!

gcathie 02-22-2009 06:01 AM

 Sorry I don't know them....but the name sounds familar.....I stay in the house to myself and sewing room...... :D :D .....we have a nice little town here...and one or two fabric shops.....if you ever make it this way give me a holler.... :D

AliceQ 02-22-2009 06:04 AM

Janstar...I love your dog quilt! Congrats on the award! How long did it take you to get the feel of things with this quilt? I think the first block took me 9 hours to complete!! LOL Then it was easier from there on. I saw a basket design done this way at a quilt shop in PA. I wish I had bought it. I love baskets!

Alice

AliceQ 02-22-2009 06:07 AM

gcathie...Too bad! You have 2 quilt shops! Lucky you! I certainly will give you a holler if I ever get down that way. You could give me a tour of the shops!

AliceQ 02-22-2009 06:08 AM

OK Ladies...you'll have to give me the heads up on how to post a pic. I can't find anything that tells. And believe me I've tried!
