Hi everyone. I just joined and wanted to introduce myself to the group. I'm from near Philadelphia, PA and have been quilting for a while now although I've been sewing most of my life. I'm swamped with UFO's. Last count was in the 30's. I only finished 4 in 2010. About 10 are waiting to be quilted as they were too large to fit under my Brother 1500. I just bought a table mounted 16" arm and one of my resolutions in 2011 is to tackle some of the kings and queens and then work on reducing my fabric stash either by using it or sending it on to someone who will.

Other than sewing, in general I like keeping my hands busy although what I'm working on changes with my whims. I've knitted, needlepointed, counted cross stitched, made garments, costumes and doll clothing.

I have a small side business in making quilt related real stained glass panels and suncatchers and in my spare time I work on house repairs and volunteer at my son's school. I like to read - almost anything, and cook - almost anything. My cookbook collection is somewhere over 400.

I really liked what I've seen so far on this list and hope to make lots of new friends here in the future :)
