Two ladies from my quilt group suggested this site to me this week..... I love it. So many ideas, pictures, and friends. I have been quilting since 2002-03 or so. My very first quilt was a rag quilt that I made for a lady from my church whose husband passed away. I used his blue jeans and western shirts to make the quilt (and it took me a whole year). She absolutely loved it and it helped her and her family through the grieving process. And although I love to made traditional quilts, rag quilts are really my favorite.
