new to posting on the board
 

hi. i've been following the board for quite awhile but haven't really felt that i had anything to contribute as i'm fairly new to quilting.
i've found the answers to lots of questions here and have found some great solutions to organizing my sewing space so i wanted to to say a big thanks for sharing your ideas and knowledge.

You can show us your first steps as a new quilter as there are new quilters like you who are struggling with their first steps. that alone would be a good contribution. I started quilting just a few years ago by doing placemats and potholders as my first steps. I graduated very slowly into bigger quilts even if I thought I was not even interesting in making quilts but rather interested in learning the "how to" only... I was wrong Now I am always planning my next quilt loll
People here are so encouraging and they will make you feel like you are "almost" an expert loll
