Just after reading and learning posts here thought I would join...Just got my Mom's old MW sewing machine fixed today. and waiting to starting using it. got a cough and fever, if anyone else is using MW (Montgomery Ward) sewing machine what is your experience?

Welcome from Texas! I have a Bernina and a couple Singers but no MW so I can't help you but someone in the vintage machines forum will probably have some knowledge of them.

Welcome from Corpus Christi, Tx. There are many who own and use MW sewing machines. There are just many more who don't. If it works for you and you're having no problems with it, then so be it. Some prefer a certain brand and swear by them. No quilt police or sewing machine police here! Just remember the machine is one of many tools. Hope you feel better soon.
