Welcome from Nevada! Everyone is new to quilting at some point. Now you can say you have a year of experience. It's a learning curve no matter how much experience you have, and that's one of the things I love about it. I'm great at sewing, but discovered I'm all thumbs with quilting, because I'm a newbie myself with quilting. Thought my sewing would help -- only kinda, sorta.
