I'm a newbie as well. Where did you ever start? My husband and I made a grandmother's garden quilt 23 years ago and I haven't quilted since. I think I may have lost my touch. Do you have any suggestions? Also, since 2 out of 3 of my children are grown and moved out (I only have my oldest daughter and 9 month old grandson left) I am now trying to acquire the fabrics, sewing machine, etc. I don't have a thing yet. What block or design did you start with?
