New quilter in Texas
I have wanted to learn quilting for so many years I've bought countless books but never made the actual move, but after finally converting a small room to a craft room I have started teaching myself to make my 1st quilt and it didn't come from my countless books but from a free video how to on a block I believe is called Astric. I am loving it. It will be for my oldest son and then plan on making one for the ramaining 5 kids. I stumbled upon this site (I don't know how) and I love it! I'm getting so much help just from reading posts & comments. THANK YOU QUILTING BOARD and to the MANY quilters here helping we newbies out!

HI I'm from Co and want to welcome to the newest addiction, quilting. I consider my and intermediate because I just started about 12 years ago and before that, I just plain didn't sew, couldn't even make a bobbin. Better at it now;) I am 70 so I was a late bloomer. lol
