I am new to quilting, although I worked in a quilt store 17 years ago for about a year as I was recovering from an auto accident, I would cut fabric and unpack shippments ( so much fun to see new things)and help pick fabrics for customers but never made a quilt or even a block. So my best friend in Indiana known on the blog as (firecrackerpam)has excited my creative nerve and little by little would send me emails on quilts, books and stores and then finally this blog. Which now leads me to signing up for the blog and the Farmer's Wife quilt. I do know how to sew and I love math....but I am really nervous about making this quilt and keeping up with the pace. But from what I can tell from this blog there is a lot of experience and kind notes so I think I'm in the right place. Looking forward to blogging with all of you. Thanks again Pam your the best!
