New to Quilting and Need Help

Hi Everyone,

My name is Dorothy and I am fairly new to quilting. I just found out I am going to be a grandmother and want to make a baby quilt but need ideas on colors. I am thinking of making two. My first is one that will be stimulating for the baby to lay on and my second will be a bigger one for her bed.

All ideas are more than welcome!

Thank you,
Dorothy

I searched "how to make a baby quilt" and found this page. Scroll down a bit, and you'll find many videos to help you.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. The videos by Jenny Doan from the Missouri Star Quilt co. are a good place to start.

How wonderful to be a grandmother and start quilting!

The nice thing about babies is they are very forgiving ;)

Wrap the child in love of whatever color or patterns are happy and joyous. Or calming. Or both at once, one nice thing about quilts is they have two sides.
