New to quilting, new to sewing, new to site - Southern Indiana
 

Hi! My name's Maggie in case you didn't catch that from my username. :o I'm 31 and live in Southern Indiana with my husband and furbabies. I love the outdoors, playing online, word games and my newest obsession is sewing and quilting.

I just started back in late December and I'm getting ready to layout my first quilt since my blocks are finally done. It's a king sized quilt of crazy colors and patterns with no pattern to the madness. LOL. I wanted to practice and this has been so great! I've really seen my skills sharpen as I've made my blocks, so I think I'm on the right path.

I'm so glad to be here and to learn from the pros! (You guys!)

Welcome from the SHO-ME state - Missouri! Sounds like you are off to a good start. If you are an "auntie" to many, then you will have lots of practice in making childrens quilts.

LOL, only an auntie to two beautiful boys, Isaac and Caleb. I always call them my monsters but they're two of the sweetest and smartest boys I've ever met. At only 7 and 3, they really do think their Aunt Maggie rocks. LOL!!

LOL, I just kind of go full force into most things I do. So yea... first sewing project a king size quilt. LOL. My momma told me I was nuts!
