New to quilting
 

I have sewn for years and even did some quilts, but up till last year, did not know what a 1/4 inch seam was. My whole upstairs has been turned into a quilting studio. Bought a long arm sewing machine, a Sunshine 16. I tried one at the Atlanta Quilt show and had to have it. What has been your experiences with one? Ginny Potter

Hello and welcome from Kentucky. I quilt on my Brother 1500 or send out to a long arm quilter.

You sound like me....I started quilting about 10 years ago and I tried a longarm and had to have it....I only quilt for myself and family for the most part, however, this year I am looking at quilting for others as the year progresses. I have to finish up my items first and then I can open up to others....LOL....
