Hello everyone,
I live in the southeast with my husband of 38 yrs & my cockatoo. We live in a motorhome which has its challenges. I do a lot of various crafts, but this year have really gotten into quilting. Learning a lot & enjoying every minute of it. I finished two lap robes & a tote bag since June & am working on another lap robe now. Still have two baby quilts to go before Christmas, along with a lot of other stuff. We normally make all the gifts we give. My husband enjoys working with wood & I've taught myself to do a lot of various crafts which I enjoy. I got a late start this year as I was going through chemotherapy & had no energy until June. Hoping to finish in time.

Welcome from Northern NY. There are a few people who live in motor homes on this board. There are a lot of members who will help out if you need it and the quilts they show are inspiration enough to get anyone motivated. The only draw back I can see is all the time I spend here instead of quilting. LOL Have Fun!!!

Thank you. Yes, I can see it's time consuming. Hope I can check back often though. I'm trying real hard to match all my points and am failing miserably. When I do get one I get real excited about it! LOL!

Welcome from southeastern PA! Sorry to hear you have had to battle cancer. Quilting definitely is therapy.

The chemo was the worst part. I'm on the last six months of treatment and the 5 yr pill now. Still tire easily but I agree..quilting is great therapy! I love making pretty things from little bits of cloth. :-)
