Hello. Quilting is new for me. Recently I did a couple of lap quilts, no piecing yet, but itching to get going. I want to get one of the new sewing embroidery machines and would like to inquire if anyone has some advice.
My choice would be one with the USB flash drive connection, but I don't know which one is better. I have looked at several brands: Janome, Babylock and Husavarna Viking. I want quality and have heard some unfavorable comments on some brands, but nothing negative on these mentioned.
Your comments would be appreciated and helpful.
I am in Alabama, USA and today we are covered in ice. Brrrr.

I just got a Brother Innovis 1500D last Nov and have not had any problems thus far. The user manual has been very helpful... then again I did get mine on Ebay (I know, gasp, right?). Just putting in a plug for my machine.

Ladies, please help me pray for a great deal on a sewing/embroidery machine and a serger. I just need to get my sweet-man husband on board and soon. It is such a great deal. But I believe if my husband is ok with it, then that is my clue that HE is ok with it.
