New to sewing I have always wanted a sewing machine. Well got my wish this Xmas A very nice Kenmore with 110 stitches.
I'm 50 yrs old. And now have the time to do what I always wanted to do make quilts. Both of my grandmother's made guilt's and I use to sit and watch them hand stitch them and sew them on the old treadle.

Welcome!!! You will have fun here. This group is wonderful! I started sewing in Sept and would still be wondering how to get my machine to work if it was not for this group. They have taught me a ton....and to keep going...There are so many ideas on this site that you will find a project that you would like to try. the tutorials are wonderful! Happy sewing....

Thanks I have been looking at this site for about 3or 4 weeks now and other but this one had the most info and help.
