Hi, I already jumped in and read all the posts and replys and forgot to introduce myself. I'm from Mt-Tremblant, Quebec and though I'm not a quilter, I like doing some small stuff like appliques on gifts that I sew. I learn a lot from all of you who so kindly post all your tricks and pictures of the beautiful things you make. Maybe the day I retire from my very busy retirement...I will join a quilting class and give it a try. I find quilting complicated but seeing all the wonderful quilts you all make, I will probably get to finish one eventually.

Hello and welcome from Juneau, Alaska. If you like to applique than your not too far from making some beautiful quilts. Quilting in the ditch is easy as 123 and you already know and love to do the hard work. Give a pot holder a small wall hanging a try with just 1 thing that you have appliqued. You will love it.
