Just found this board a few days ago and it seems like a super great place to hang out. I'm mostly a quilter wannabe and my work isnt very good -=yet=-. I just retired a couple of weeks ago and plan to spend a great deal of time working on improving my quilting.

I have a top pieced that is applique different breeds of dogs in 30's prints (cute, cute, cute if I do say so myself). I am waiting until I think my quilting will do it justice to finish it.

Besides quilting, I also enjoy reading (mostly SF), cross stitch, and petting my dogs.

I look forward to getting to know y'all.
