Hi! Welcome from Oklahoma!!!

Mousie 11-22-2008 10:27 AM

hi,
I am brand new to most of you. I did chat the other night with some of you and it was great! I don't work for health reasons and don't get done nearly as much as I dream to do.
well, i must have given a nick and a password sometime back and then forgot them both so I am going to show up as quiltncrazy, but in chat I was cluvsquilts. really like that better, but don't know how to change it. I wouldn't mind just being called "c".
read other newbie comments and I could have written chrissieb's as my own, bc it sounds just like me, teaching myself from books and pc and making mistakes but loving it the whole time.
I'll be in and out but agree this is a great site. bye for now, c

Mousie 11-22-2008 10:31 AM

oops! chrissyb, misspelled your name. wanted to say hi. c

thank you so much for the welcome. i haven't had time to check everything out here, but so far have seen some pretty awesome talent! i am so glad to be here to learn and am already inspired. Plus, already got some free patterns that somebody posted site about. this is great! c

Mousie 11-22-2008 01:49 PM

thanks! not very pc literate, just mess around and it shows! thought I replied earlier. good thing i have patience with quilting, it takes it, but i am so grateful to be obsessed with something so beautiful as fabrics, quilts and all the gravy that goes with it all. c

Mousie 11-22-2008 08:31 PM

thanks, sula bug. it's great to be here. c

thanks, kd. i'm in fla, bet it's coooold there.
was wondering, would like to change my nickname to the one I have been using all year, cluvsquilt. didn't realize i had joined in january. is there a way to do that?

Mousie 11-23-2008 07:39 PM

i am learning that very quickly. had trouble in chat...somebody, (sorry, brain is fogged right now), was going to tell me how to download actual patterns of bom and my words kept disappearing. i finally had to give up and leave. didn't mean to just give you my problem, lol. c (changing my nick as soon as i figure out how. )

kd124 11-24-2008 09:51 AM

Actually quiltncrazy, we're having mild weather so far. We've been working outside with just long sleeves--no coat. However, my nephew's M-I-L has a friend up from San Diego, CA and she would not agree with that. LOL
