Guess I may as well introduce myself, since I've been a 'silent partner' for a while now. I love this board, and it's nice to see how friendly and helpful everyone is. Just reading the posts has been an 'upper'. I'm making quilts for my three grandchildren now, with the end of making one for each holiday for each of them. Ambitious? Well, look at it this way... I can't die until I finish all the quilts I've set out to do, so keep those ideas coming! :)

I feel like I've been hugged from all over the world. Thank you. And that is a gorgeous Cathedral Window quilt. When you get tired of it, you can just send it right on to me. :)

Well some. There is a nice one in Fairfield & one in Athens. I usually go to Tyler.

Alondra 04-09-2010 08:22 AM

I used to go through Palestine going to visit my daughter who then lived in Lawrence, KS. I'd stop at quilt shops all along the way and visit the museums in Tulsa. Found some really nice 30's reproduction fabric that i still haven't used.
