Wow! There are a lot of people from Michigan..... I know there are so many wonderful quilters around the state. I try to visit every quilt shop I pass as I travel from SE to West UP every year. I love to travel and so I've visited shops from Florida to the UP. Hopefully we'll be able to go west a little this winter and I'll get to experience some that way.

Yes, I did the quilt in my avitar.... it took me about 3 years to get it finished but it won 1st place in an artist's show that had a quilting category. I'm quite proud of it. I had hated applique until I learned this technique and then I started appliqueing everything I could get my hands on.

There are so many here on quiltingboard.com.... How do you all keep up with all the new posts?
