Hello all!!

I've been occasionally checking in on this board to see what's going on and I've been on the chat a couple times. I love all the quilts that everyone makes!! So encouraging to see what one can do.

And I've noticed that the people on this board are all so friendly! I'm looking forward to getting to know you better.

I love to sew and have made a few quilts - I just love it!! I hope to learn quite a bit more from all ya'll.

That precious little girl is my granddaughter, Violet Rose.

I was working on the quilt she is laying on and when Violet saw it she went nuts. She was kicking her little legs and cooing. It's probably because of the sharp contrast between the pinks and black & white. At any rate I quickly finished it up and give it to her. So that is her baby quilt. Not too traditional of a baby quilt - but she's happy.

Welcome! I am sure that Violet's favorite colors will be pink, black and white because of the lovely quilt Gramma made her when she was a baby!
