Newbie from Cailformia
Hi I am from Lake Isabella, California and very new to this message board and to Quilting I have only made 3 flannel raggy quilts, but now I would like to learn more, I am currently wanting to make a flannel quilt with a Fleese backing, I really do not have a set pattern yet but I have my fabric all picked out. My first question I have is should I WASH all the fabric before cutting? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome, from Texas! You should definitely pre-wash flannel . . . maybe even a couple of times. Some flannels shrink quite a bit. If you use polyester fleece, it probably will not shrink . . . but depending upon the color, may bleed. If you use a darker color, I'd pre-wash it, as well.
