Newbie from Florida

So glad to be part of the "Quilting Board" I'm looking forward to making my first quilt and doing it right.
I love to sew and make things. I hope to gain insight from those who know what it takes to make a quality quilt.

welcome from Long Island NY.
You're in the right place to learn, a lot of knowledge is found here. very friendly people.
Jump right in and join a swap, or get in a round robin. Every month there are swaps going on.
post card, pincushion/needle case/ mugrugs/ wall hangings. mini quilts. the list is endless and it seems every month, new ones are being added. we're a friendly group. have some fun and take a look around. welcome.

In January, PAINTMEJUDY is doing a Mystery Train Ride. that is a quilt
that every week we're given more clues on what to do. it's a great way of working on a quilt,. and learning a new technique each week. at the end of 4-8 weeks, you have a quilt. look at them we just finished the 7th one. a lot of fun, and great for the beginner too.
