I am a newbie on this board and to quilting. I remember as a little girl, helping my grandma and grandpa trace and cut out patterns for her quilts. I now have so much spare time on my hands, I needed something to do for these cold Wisconsin days. So I decided to try quilting, and made my 3 grandkids each a quilt. I just started with 3 different colors in just blocks. So I am a self learner, and I think this site is really going to help me.

Welcome from the cornfields of Southern IL Happy quilting too! I was a self taught quilter myself but after making about 6 tie quilts I took a beginners quilting class & that was the best thing I ever did! Then I couldn't get enough classes, took every class I could because I became addicted. This was back in 1992 & I'm still quilting! Welcome to the quilting world! And many happy quilts to you!
