Greetings from Northern Nevada where it is blowing snow yet again today....which means I get to sew all day!

Thanks, but not being forced really I have not had a job in 3 years due to cancer and moving! BUT I also did not get a new sewing room until last summer so just getting it all set up and put to use now!

Where do you live in Northern Nevada. I'm in Alturas, and I was in Nevada this morning on a transport, picking up a couple people in Doyle and Herlong and take to Susanville. If you'd maybe like to get together, maybe we can arrange time and day. We had snow here also, but not after Sage Hen pass.

Hi, I am actually in Battle Mountain and do not know much about NV other than it is desolate and takes forever to get anywhere!
I do go to Fallon every 3 months to the base but that is about all!

Welcome to the QB from SE Michigan! We are not snow covered right now and the weather is comfortable however in Michigan that can turn to snow in a heart beat. I am sure we will have more before the planting season starts and that us usually around Mother's Day. Last year on Mother's day we had snow! So I hear you. Sew to your hearts content today. Glad to have you join us here. Again welcome to the QB.

Studio-well, we're quite a ways apart, so probably we won't ever meet. I'm sure you'll meet a lot of quilters closer to where you are though.

Welcome from South Louisiana! We did get a tiny bit of snow when we had the ice storm, but summer is fast coming. It's back to short and flip-flops. Between the bugs and the heat, I will get a chance to sew a lot starting about May.
