I am a newbie here but not to quilting. My mum taught me the joys of patchwork and quilting over 8 years ago. I also love vintange and antique items and as such I now have 2 vintage sewing machines.

Hello Drizzip, from the NE to the West Country. I grew up even further west, in Plymouth, and have spent over half a century working my way north! My first machine as a child was an old Featherweight, followed by a couple of newer machines, but recently I bought another Featherweight for classes. Oh the nostalgia!

I echo Northern Lass, it is great to see more Brits on here.
