Hi and welcome from West Virginia. I agree, make sure you have it loaded correctly. seems too loose to me.

Hello and welcome from SW FL. Wow, that's some machine you have there. And, me, with my puny Husky to do my quilting with.

something else I just noticed (it was tickling at my brain and I just came back to double check) LOL.....

the 'sandwich' as it rolls should be flat against the throat plate on the inside pole - the one inside the machine - you have it draped over the top and it never will work right like that - it keeps the sandwich too far off the bed of the machine....

just at a guess, you are having tangles, broken thread, or maybe it isn't even stitching....

look on youtube for video tutorials on how to load a quilt onto a frame - that will help a whole lot more than us trying to 'explain' in print...

You are exactly right Grannymom. I did have the roll going over the take up rail instead of coming forward. I was re-reading through the instruction manual again this afternoon discovered that. I had not had a problem with tangles or broken thread, my problem is getting the designs I have chosed to start in the center of the center block. When I set my quilt area and put the design in the pattern box, it looks like it is centered until the needle drops down and it is off-center. I have to try several times setting the quilt area before I get it centered correctly. I am making progress through since I have the quilt rolling the correct way on the take up rail. I have just started row 5 of 8 rows. Thanks for your advise.
