Newbie - Magnolia, TX area (SE Texas)
I've always heard it's never to late to start...we shall see! I'm brand new at quilting (am completing my first machine quilt for grandbaby #6, due in August). I have A LOT to learn, but everyone here sounds so friendly! I'm excited to be here - and I'll have plenty of questions! :)

Hi, djmat - Thanks for the welcome! I'm originally from OK - born & raised there - settled in Tulsa (we may actually know some of the same people!) and raised my family, then after 37 years, moved to Texas. It was a good move for us. But I doubt we'll ever holler for anyone but OU. :)

Welcome! I lived in Magnolia in 1978 for one year. Loved the pine trees. There was a resturant there that made the absolute best baked potatoes. They were huge and really loaded. I'd pre-order one about twice a week for supper. Imagine things have changed a lot since then.
