Newbie from Missouri

Hi from C Missouri. I'm retired, divorced and do a lot of sewing and crafts. I'm working now on repairing a beloved old quilt for an old friend. His grandmother made it. We have reason to believe the fabrics may date to 1940's, or 50's. I really want to find the name of this quilt, if anyone can help

I'm sorry. This forum won't work for me I guess. It will not let me share any pictures.
I can't delete my post either. Sorry to bother anyone

You're not bothering anyone. Please let us know how you figured out how to post a picture. And welcome from Southern California!

I did! On a different heading finally, and by going to PC. I cannot seem to do it on my phone.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. Can you describe it? Is it pieced or appliqué?

IceTaxiMama 01-25-2021 07:23 PM

Here is a link above to take you to a picture. It is all pieced. https://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f...ml#post8455468

Welcome to the QB. I’ve been a member here for a long time and when they changed the format a coup of years ago, I had a tough time being able to post photos too but I’ve finally figured out to do it from my iPad. Good luck.

Welcome! I'm from Missouri too. What are your favorite quilt shops in our state?

IceTaxiMama 01-30-2021 05:24 PM

I don't really know anymore. Only one near me anymore is Rooster Creek in Holts Summit. So, I guess it's my favorite. They do have good prices. Opening a larger place soon. Anxious to see.

You must not be too far from me. I've been to Rooster Creek many times and Teresa is originally from the town I live in. I've heard there's a nice shop near Boonville but I've not been there yet.
