Signature is Montgomery ward so no surprise to see both names there. You might do a google search using the model # (should be somewhere on machine) to find an updated manual if you don't think this one is for this machine. All machines are a little different than the next so it's hard for someone to tell you without seeing it. If the manual isn't working for you what I suggest you to do is find a sewing store or a Sewing/Vac store around you, call around until you find one who will let you bring it in and teach you how to do what you need. They might charge you something but it shouldn't be much. Good luck.

Welcome from Kentucky!

I would 'google' your machine and look for manuals....sometimes you can find freebies. Also, go to you tube and search for sewing tips. There is a ton of information on there. You may not find a video for your specific machine... but there may be enough info on there to help you greatly in figuring it out.

If I may offer some advice....patience and determination will be critical. You will probably have many frustrating moments (we all have them after years of sewing)... but hang in there.... you can do it!!! Best wishes and enjoy the journey!

I wonder about taking it to a sewing machine shop where they service machines? They may know the ins and outs of your sewing machine. And welcome to the group from Lebanon Oregon!!
