Hi! Thank you for the warm welcome in your chat room. I'm new to this forum from the Orange County area of NY. I've been quilting for many years but still consider myself a novice. Almost every quilt project I completed was a gift for someone. I have many UFOs and tons of fabric in stash. I prefer to hand quilt, but sometimes the machine makes it possible to complete a project "on time". I tend to do more strip piecing than individual piece cutting.
Aside from quilting, I enjoy counted x-stitching and general wardrobe sewing. Happy quilting...............and always quilt on days that end in "y"!!!! |
Welcome! We have family who live in NY. What part are you from?

I'm from the Town of Montgomery, about 60 miles north of NYC....hello to all fellow quilters!!!
|
welcome aboard and don't forget to post pictures of your quilts.... |
I know where that is! I used to live in Rockland, below Bear Mountain, and also High Falls in Ulster County. Mountain and falls - two words I seldom get to use living in Florida now.
Anyway, pull up a chair and have fun. |
