Hello everyone!

I've lurked for a couple of days, posted on Friday last week looking for help regarding basket weaving a quilt ... and got lots of responses and help! Thanks very much for the warm welcome, and generous responses!

My preference for quilting is to go on pinterest / or google images of quilts and take an idea and go from there.

I have only sewn one quilt from a pattern and hated it LOL ... oh my the restrictions LOL and the structure ... what fun is that?

I don't name my quilts, nor do I know the names of 99% of them since I just wing it.

I sew about 15-20 of them over the winter and donate them the following Christmas to a variety of charities.

Here's the latest one I am donating (I do KNOW the name of this pattern LOL ... tumbling blocks!)

Welcome from Louisiana, glad you found the site. Lovely tumbling blocks. I also am horrible with names of patterns, blocks, etc. I just look at pic's and go from there. You're not alone.

Welcome from New Jersey. Beautiful tubling block quilt....one of my favorite patterns. Hubs and I get to your lovely city Labor day weekend for the balloon festival in Gatineau each year and have a wonderful time.
